Just-In-Sequence (JIS) is a Term describing the Practice that adds delivering materials in the sequence of consumption to the Just-In-Time (JIT) practice. Just-In-Sequence is typically applied to assembly line production processes, JIS requires the Supplier to deliver the materials in the sequence of the production schedule of the Manufacturer.
