The activities associated with approving, formatting and communicating the Production Plan. This may include a formal process to review and ratify the plan and/or identify alternative scenarios triggering a rerun of P303 with the intention to achieve a more favorable Production Plan.

The output of this process may include the MPS for internal use, a production plan for external use (e.g. Tolling Partner or Outsourcing Partner) and a formal forecast for internal and/or external suppliers.
