The activities associated with determining and managing the disposition of supplier packaging, replaced parts, waste materials and/or scrap. This includes identifying the standard procedure for disposition, recording and submitting disposition requests and notify material handlers and/or operators.

For RL and especially Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul supply chains this may be an important process as it partially determines the value capture of a returned product or asset.
