Goods Receipt is a term describing the process to transfer ownership (in) of a material or product. A Goods Receipt will typically increase the inventory for the materials at the location where these materials where received.

Use Cases

  • Receiving products (completions) from a production/manufacturing process
  • Recording the receipt of materials from Supplier
