First Expired, First Out (FEFO)

FEFO is a Retail term describing the practice to process those goods first that will expire first, for Generic Stock. FEFO, similar to FIFO, is generally only relevant for Make-To-Stock processes. Make-to-Order and Engineer-To-Order process Sales Order Stock, picking is done based on the order reference of the inventory.
