Low Tech, High Touch is a Term in the area of Business Process Management describing the level of automation and personal interaction of a process. A Low Tech, High Touch process has a no or low level of automation and a high level of personal interaction.
Well-executed Low Tech, High Touch processes typically result in a very positive/exclusive customer experience. Low Tech, High Touch processes are typically more expensive due to the dependency on skilled labor and is therefore less suitable for high volume, low value transactions.
