Other Operational Expenses is a ratio that measures the cost associated with continuous improvement, restructuring and capital investments to maintain and/or improve the supply chain, as a percentage of total revenue.

- Revenue = Total annual supply chain revenue. Generally this excludes revenue from selling company or supply chain assets

Importance
A lower percentage indicates a better performance. For benchmarking purposes this metric is measured annually. For scorecards, dashboards and cockpits these a typically a rolling number of months.
