Example practices include: adding, changing or deleting nodes, adding, changing or deleting high-level processes. This includes automation, outsourcing, insourcing.

Each solution will be evaluated against a set of business rules and business and supply chain strategy. Only solutions that pass this evaluation will be worked out in detail in the Network Design process.
