The activities associated with the identification of corrective actions in planning assumptions, parameters and processes to improve the performance of the planning process. This includes reporting key numbers, data gathering, disaggregation, consolidation of planning data and identification of reasons of differences between planned volumes, inventories, revenues and costs.
The purpose of this process is to improve future cycles of the source planning process and make short term sourcing schedule adjustments as needed.
