DRP-II (Distribution Resource Planning) is the practice of integrating the distribution replenishment planning (P2) and capacity planning (P4) processes for each location and across multiple locations in a distribution network.

Distribution Resource Planning (DRP-II) extends Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) by considering capacity constraints of locations in the distribution network:

  • Plan Source (P2) primarily calculates requirements (the "Goods")
  • Plan Deliver (P4) adds resource constraints in the distribution network (the "Constraints")
