The original estimated shipment date given in OP or Delivery Planning for customer orders. The date an order or order line was initially or originally estimated to be shipped to the agreed delivery location. Initially or originally here means the first time a shipment commitment was issued to the customer. A typical example of such commitment is the shipment date communicated in the Order Confirmation.

  • Original = First date communicated
  • Scheduled = Estimation an activity will occur
  • Shipment = The activity to occur

Alternate names include: First commit date, Original Scheduled Shipment Date, OETD (Original Estimated Time of Departure).
